It has been a while but 2014 started with a few good things, some of the projects where I got stuck were "unstuck " with a little help from my friends
First of all, Mo's bike has the engine in the frame. Mo & Robby lifted the engine and the gearbox in its place in december 2013, the only important thing left to do, is welding the exhaust as a two in one, so there will be more about this later on.
Second, the Minerva is finished, as a non professional or non full- time amateur modeller , I must say the result is satisfying.
Yes , the model has some flaws, an expert on the subject would find several points differing from reality, but the car was built by interpretation of numerous pictures, each one studied to try and get a measurement to make the next piece, you can imagine there has been a lot of guessing and comparing
Third, concerning the conversion build, I've popped the driveshafts of both the /2 and /6 swing arm , with the help of Lionel (woodland veteran motorcycles club) the driveshaft's coupler bells were separated after two hours of intense muscle work. next step is machining the /6 coupler bell to fit the /2 swingarm
